Below is a waffle-free summary of what I do and the things I’m interested in.


I’m currently on an industrial placement at Renishaw plc, working with absolute optical encoders. Before that, I taught a bit of maths and physics at a local sixth form.


I study physics at Keble College, Oxford, and am currently somewhere in my second year. Between 2006 and 2013 I studied at Katharine Lady Berkeley’s School in Gloucestershire.

Amongst other things, I enjoy alternative ice hokey, playing piano, and making origamic architecture models. I’m also a grapheme–colour synaesthete.
